Cooperation with higher education institutions

The Pharmaceutical Assistance Graduate Program (PPGAF) has systematically maintained collaborative scientific projects with the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Ribeirão Preto (FCFRP-USP), with the State University of Maringá (UEM), the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE) ), the Federal University of Goiás (UFG) and the Federal University of Amazonas (UFAM), through a National Academic Cooperation Program (Procad).

Network research and partnership prospecting

The Program also maintains cooperation with the Network for the Strengthening and Strategic Innovation of the Production chain of Extracts and Oils from the Paraense Amazon Applied to Phytotherapics and Phytocosmetics (REFITAM) and with the Amazon Network of Nanotechnology Applied to Drugs (RANAF). In addition, it is registered that partnerships have been established with professionals from USP / SP, UFPR, UFRJ, UFF and ENSP-FIOCRUZ, aiming to strengthen the lines of research of this Professional Master's.

PPGAF participates in the research project “Pharmacotherapeutic Follow-up of Patients with Prostate Cancer Undergoing Drug Androgenic Blockade”, inserted in Plataforma Brasil, in cooperation with USP University Pharmacy, USP University Hospital and the State Health Department of Sao Paulo.

Cooperation with the School of Mines of Albi and the National University of Rosario

PPGAF has cooperation with the School of Mines of Albi - Carmoux Center Rapsodee (France) and with the National University of Rosario (Argentina) to carry out research projects.

Bern University (Switzerland) and Witten-Herdecke University (Germany)

The Program maintains cooperation with the University of Bern (Switzerland) and the Witten-Herdecke University (Germany) for the development of academic research with Viscum album and commercial preparations, produced by the Helixor laboratory and registered under the trade name ISCADOR. Viscum album is a semiparasitic plant from the Lorantaceae family and has been used in the context of integrative and complementary practices for the treatment of different types of tumors, with very promising results. When associated with conventional therapy, many studies indicate an improvement in the quality of life of patients with carcinomas of different origins.

Prospecting for partnerships

In addition, the International Cooperation Support Program (PACI) intends to formalize partnerships with the Universities of Lisbon in Portugal, Firenze, Genova, Bologna and Parma in Italy. The last three with co-guardianship and co-title.
